Started as a duo in 2010 in Strasbourg by François Wagener and Cédric Loup, with a first single (les rats/panne sexe) on the wonderful Vancouver label, Sweet Rot Records, TELEDETENTE 666 released, 3 years later, "Karen," their first album. Then covid settled in. "Les heures passent comme le font les cercueils, sans laisser de trace, sans l'ombre d'un deuil. Crache." The band reappeared in 2023 when Seb Normal joined them on drums, replacing drum machines with human patterns. The synth-punk label the duo has too easily been saddled with keeps getting blown apart by the thickness and vibrations of the electric strings and by the mess and the level of nuisance of the synth itself, and of course by their affiliation with “La Grande Triple Alliance Internationale de l'Est”. The new album, "Foxtrot," comes out on October 2nd with the participation of Arvo Disque, Détente Records, Epicericords, Future Folklore Records, Les Potagers Natures, Permanent Freaks, and Specific Recordings.

A member of the bands HEADWAR, BADABOUM, the duo LES MORTS VONT BIEN and other improbable formations, Krinator modestly showcases her solo project.
A project that could be the offspring of a child locked away with only a synthesizer, Choco BN cookies, and a VCR fed with horror tapes and cartoons for company. The endless Wednesday afternoons spent improvising soundtracks for Mickey and "A Nightmare on Elm Street" were not in vain...
..Carine sings in Italian, Japanese, English and German at a fourth-grade level, over the chords of a synthesizer, effects pedals, a cassette player and carefully thrifted toy instruments… Despite the cheerful resonances of this assemblage, one can sense a meticulous application where the addition of a Playskool flute makes sense.

Made in Brussels - 75% human 25% machine
DISCO DEGAT turns boredom into a party, the worst into the best, frustration into pleasure.
Three humans, accompanied by machines, lay down French-language lyrics that transcend the everyday over synthetic, danceable rhythms, fat and hypnotic basslines, and dissonant, angry guitars.
