Né à Rouen en 2013, Sordide sort son premier album, La France a peur, en 2014. Au départ volontairement brut voire primitif, le style du trio évolue vers une conception plus personnelle du black metal, tour à tour urgente, vindicative ou introspective. Après avoir participé au Roadburn, au Hellfest et à l’In Extremis, et sillonné l'Europe pour jouer Les idées blanches jusqu’en Islande et en Finlande, Sordide sortira son cinquième album en octobre.

Sordide comes from the wet gutters of Rouen, Normandy. Since the release of its debut album through Avantgarde, in 2014, the trio has been spitting a scornful and desperate anger in Moliere’s language under the motto NEITHER NAME, NOR FLAG. Since then, the band has multiplied albums culminating with the release of “Les idées blanche”, in 2021, played throughout Europe and at Roadburn and Hellfest festivals. After traveling to Iceland and Finland, Sordide will release its fifth full-length in October.
 

Rattus Norvegicus, Amsterdam’s most pesky disease ridden swarm, has transmuted into the vampyric group known as Rattenburcht. Archaic beats, primitive riffs and wretched screeches amalgamate into ancient black metal spirits and crude, minimal punk stomp blasphemy.

Formed in 2022 in Tielt (West-Flanders) out of the remains of bands like Slavestate, Murder Intentions, The Breynolds, Boiling Remains and many more, the band released a first demo in 2023, followed by a self-released LP in 2024, a digital single in 2025 and a split LP with False, Days Of Desolation and Facepalm Nation through Bones Brigade Records in 2026.
