Emerging from the DIY scene of São Paulo, RAKTA are a genre-bending group of experimentalist musicians building proggy psychedelic expanses of sound for over a decade. Consisting of Carla Boregas on bass and electronics, Paula Rebellato on vocals and synths, and Maurício Takara on drums and electronics, RAKTA draw listeners into a captivating world of noise and melody and rhythm through their energetic and atmospheric live performances. Somewhere between kraut-rock spiritualism, post-punk grittiness, and cinematic giallo horror funkiness, RAKTA create cacophonous and bristling compositions that are as unpredictable as they are engaging. As Rebellato howls and sings and screams, RAKTA's music always borders on fully devolving into chaos, yet they are constantly reined in and kept under control by these masterful musicians – just about.

With Slumberland, Belgian musician, composer and instrument maker Jochem Baelus has been unleashing obscure, hypnotic krautrock and postpunk colored with distorted exotica, upon us since 2013.
Slumberlands tactile sound is generated by a battery of sewing machines, film projectors and other dismantled, mechanical objects. So far, he released a solo album, the 2019 release 'Sea, sea, sea Drifter // See, see, see Drifter', joined by 2 drummers and a recent collaboration with Tuvan voice-artist Sainkho Namtchylak released on the Berlin based record label Morphine Records.
He has been invited by numerous adventurous music festivals like CTM, Le Guess Who, Rewire, BRDCST, Meakusma for his vivacious live performances. But now Jochem Baelus is back on the road solo with his latest sound sculpture. Expect rattling drones of motoric 'bagpipes' grinding, accompanied by compelling, melodic & minimal compositions, hypnotic rhythmical clusters and complete stillness.
