VAAG is a (post)punk / no wave outfit out of Kortrijk/Ghent, consisting of 4 friends with a long background in hardcore & punk and who have been playing in various bands (such as HAEMERS, HITCH, VVOVNDS, HESSIAN and SUPERGENIUS to name a few).
They started the band from a common love for all things 80ies postpunk, bleak UK Punk and OI! and New/No wave …. We’d like to think we’re putting the PUNK back in POSTPUNK. ;-)
VAAG is another band that springs from the fertile grounds of the Kortrijk aka “K-Town underground” scene that is based around long time running punk & DIY venue The Pit’s.
