New project by Rémy Venant (La Jungle) and Christian Garcia-Gaucher (Meril Wubslin). The Brussels duo explores a form of particularly repetitive modern folk. A lyrical kraut where guitar and stripped-down drums combine with a succession of brass, percussion and sampled keyboards that accumulate and organize themselves. The organic drone takes its time, unfolds a few lyrics smoothly, then gives way to long rhythmic textures that last, intensify and culminate.
